初九 不遠復。无祗悔。元吉。
不遠復
Wilhelm Translation
Return from a short distance. No need for remorse. Great good fortune.
Commentary
Return from not far—no need for remorse, supreme good fortune. You haven't strayed far; the return is easy. Confucius praised his disciple Yan Hui for this: 'If he did anything wrong, he became aware of it; and when he knew it, he did not do the same thing again.' Catching error early enables the best outcome.
